The director of engineering, asked to sum up four weeks of On The Move in one word.
“Fun.”
"In the closing days the competition was electric and got people out and moving to help their Nest. But if I was to sum up NestEgg in one word, it would be 'FUN'."
“It brought our culture back to life.”
"The results have been nothing short of amazing."
“A simple but powerful way to build culture.”
"What I loved most was that it gave us something to focus on together that had nothing to do with work targets or performance. It brought the team closer, created a great sense of camaraderie and made looking after ourselves feel genuinely enjoyable."
“Participants of all levels were motivated.”
"The best part was how participants of all levels were motivated and encouraged to get involved, thanks to the handicap system. Our gym-bunnies were an easy sell. … But those who ordinarily felt they didn't do enough exercise, or need something to spark them into healthier habits, felt a hugely positive impact."
“I have not had as much fun exercising.”
"I can honestly say that I have not had as much fun exercising as I have over the last 18 months."
“Well over 50% of our staff.”
"We launched the programme five weeks ago and the uptake has been fantastic. We had 11 teams and 55 people taking part, which was well over 50% of our staff."
